A top-producing sales associate, Omar Cotto has been a resident of Central Florida for more than 30 years. Having witnessed the local market change tremendously throughout the years, he brings his firsthand knowledge of the community and neighborhoods to his partnership with Keller Williams in Oviedo, FL.
Hailing from Winter Springs, Omar earned a business degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida. Prior to working in real estate, he spent 18 years in the Florida Army National Guard, and was deployed to locations such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar. He spent the majority of his career in leadership positions, managing high-performing colleagues. Since turning his focus to real estate in 2015, he’s worked tirelessly to make his customers his top priority.
Drawing upon his marketing background and experience working with developers on all phases of land acquisition through finished home sales, Omar has a unique insight into costs for investments and employs some of the most innovative strategies to deliver his buyers and sellers unparalleled results. Omar is a member of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association. When he’s not busy working with customers, he enjoys leading an active lifestyle by playing golf and hiking the local trails. He and his family love dining out at Oviedo’s unique eateries and food trucks.
A strong supporter of the local community, Omar belongs to the Forge Bible Study’s Men’s Ministry, Masonic Lodge No. 143 in Oviedo, and volunteers with the Orange County Academy to mentor students from struggling communities. He’s also aided the local communities during major hurricanes like Charlie, Maria, Michael and Irma, working with county emergency response teams and law enforcement
